Your Day, Their Play!

Drop-off enrichment, on your schedule!

Because life doesn't always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither should your family's support system. School's closed, but you still have to work? Have a meeting, appointment, or errands to run? Need a few uninterrupted hours to catch up on life? That's where DayDrop comes in!

DayDrop by Dayspace is a flexible, drop-off enrichment experience designed for busy families who need a little extra breathing room. Whether you're navigating school holidays, filling gaps in your weekly routine, or simply need a few hours to yourself, DayDrop gives your child an opportunity to learn, explore, create, and connect while you take care of yourself and your other responsibilities.

A Little Freedom for You. A Big Adventure for Them.

At Dayspace, we believe that time away from parents should be meaningful, engaging, and fun! DayDrop offers children an enriching environment built around:

  • Learning Through Play: Hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.

  • Social Connection: Opportunities to build friendships, practice communication, and develop social skills.

  • Creative Exploration: Imaginative activities, arts, movement, and interactive experiences.

  • Independent Discovery: Age-appropriate experiences that build confidence and encourage independence.

Perfect for Those In-Between Moments

DayDrop is especially helpful when:

  • Dayspace’s typical co-working options won’t suit your needs.

  • School is closed for a holiday, but work isn't.

  • You have appointments, meetings, or errands that require your full attention.

  • Your regular family routine has an unexpected gap.

  • You need a few hours to work, recharge, or catch up.

  • Your little one could benefit from extra opportunities to socialize

FAQs

How Is DayDrop Different From Daycare?

DayDrop by Dayspace is not a traditional daycare program. Instead, it's a flexible, short-term enrichment experience designed to complement your family's existing routine. Whether you need a few hours to work, attend appointments, manage school closures, or simply get things done, DayDrop offers children an engaging environment to learn, create, explore, and socialize. To maintain our flexible, supplemental model, DayDrop visits are limited to a maximum of 6 sessions per month, with each session lasting no longer than 4 hours. DayDrop is not intended to replace a child's regular daycare, preschool, or other primary care arrangement.

Dayspace is not licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), so our program has important limitations. We do not provide diapering or toileting assistance, and children participating in DayDrop must be fully toilet-independent. We also do not prepare or serve meals; instead, we offer allergen-friendly snacks during sessions. DayDrop is designed for families seeking occasional, enrichment-focused experiences rather than full-day childcare services. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging space where children can enjoy meaningful activities while parents enjoy a little more flexibility in their day.
