DayNight🌙
Date Night for You. Play Night for Them!
First Saturday of Every Month
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Make plans. We've got the kids!
Date night? Girls' night? Dinner with friends? Or maybe you just want a few uninterrupted hours to yourself. Whatever your Friday night plans look like, DayNight is here to make them possible! Introducing DayNight, Dayspace's monthly Parents' Night Out drop-off experience, where parents get a well-deserved evening off while their little ones enjoy a night filled with play, laughter, socialization, and fun!
DayNight is designed for children ages 3-10 and offers four hours of engaging, age-appropriate activities in the familiar, welcoming environment of Dayspace. We believe parents deserve time to reconnect with themselves, their partners, and their friends without having to choose between their own well-being and their children's happiness. We also believe children deserve opportunities to build friendships, explore new interests, and enjoy experiences created just for them. That's why DayNight is more than just a place to drop off your kids. It's a thoughtfully planned evening where children can socialize, learn through play, move their bodies, enjoy a meal, watch a movie, and wind down together.

A Saturday Night Made Just for Kids!
Every DayNight follows a familiar routine, giving children the comfort of knowing what to expect while introducing new games, activities, and themes each month.
5:00 PM | Game Night! 🎲
We kick off the evening with games, laughter, and a little friendly competition!
Each month, children are introduced to a new selection of age-appropriate board games, card games, and interactive group activities. From simple matching and memory games for our youngest participants to strategy games and cooperative challenges for older children, there's something for every age and developmental stage.
Game time is about more than having fun. Children practice important skills like taking turns, following directions, problem-solving, patience, communication, and teamwork. Younger children are supported with simplified activities and hands-on play so everyone can participate at their own level.
And with different games featured each month, there's always something new to discover!
5:45 PM | Dance Party! 🪩
Time to turn up the fun!
Our dance party gives children a chance to move their bodies, express themselves, and shake out some energy before winding down for the evening. With upbeat, kid-appropriate music, dancing, movement games, and lots of laughter, this is one of the highlights of DayNight.
We understand that every child experiences music, movement, and group activities differently, so our dance parties are designed to be sensory-conscious and inclusive. Music is kept at an appropriate volume, participation is always encouraged but never forced, and children who prefer a quieter activity can enjoy an alternative.
Whether your child loves to dance in the middle of the room or prefers to observe from the sidelines, there's room for everyone to enjoy the experience in their own way.
6:00 PM | Pizza Party! 🍕
All that playing and dancing works up an appetite!
At 7:00 PM, we gather for a pizza party. It's a chance for children to refuel, enjoy dinner together, and socialize with their new friends.
Parents can head out knowing that dinner is already part of the evening's activities!
Please share any food allergies or dietary restrictions during registration so our team can review your child's needs in advance. Families who need an alternative meal should coordinate with Dayspace before attending.
6:30 PM | Movie Night! 🎬
Grab a cozy spot. It's movie time!
As the evening transitions into a calmer pace, children settle in for a movie selected especially for our young audience.
Each month, we'll feature a different family-friendly movie inspired by the season, upcoming holidays, or a special theme. Think cozy fall favorites, winter adventures, holiday classics, and animated stories that spark imagination and bring everyone together.
Movie selections are thoughtfully chosen with our age range in mind, and children who aren't interested in watching can participate in quieter alternative activities.
Our goal is to create a relaxed, comfortable movie-night experience that feels like a special Friday night tradition.
8:00 PM | Bedtime Story! 📚
As the evening winds down, we slow things down with a cozy bedtime story.
Children gather for a calming storytime featuring age-appropriate books that encourage imagination, language development, and a love of reading.
This is our opportunity to transition away from the excitement of the evening and into a slower, more restful atmosphere.
Pajamas are encouraged! Children are welcome to arrive in their favorite pajamas so they're extra comfortable for movie time and bedtime stories. Pajamas are completely optional, though, and regular comfortable clothing is just as welcome.
8:30 PM | Quiet Time 🌙
After an exciting evening, it's time to relax.
During our final half hour, we dim the energy and create a peaceful environment with quiet activities, books, and opportunities to rest.
Children can settle into a comfortable space while waiting for pickup. There's no expectation that children fall asleep; this is simply an opportunity to unwind after a busy evening.
We want pickup to feel calm and easy, especially for families heading home to continue their bedtime routines.
9:00 PM | Goodnight, Dayspace! ❤️
It's time to head home!
Parents can pick up their children at any point throughout the evening, whether that's after dinner, after the movie, or at the end of the night.
All children must be picked up no later than 9:00 PM.
Ready to Make Plans?
Advance registration is required. Reserve your child's spot before making your evening plans! Once we have received your reservation, you will be sent a one-time registration form per child.

How Is DayDrop Different From Daycare?
DayDrop by Dayspace is not a traditional daycare program. Instead, it's a flexible, short-term enrichment experience designed to complement your family's existing routine. Whether you need a few hours to work, attend appointments, manage school closures, or simply get things done, DayDrop offers children an engaging environment to learn, create, explore, and socialize. To maintain our flexible, supplemental model, DayDrop visits are limited to a maximum of 6 sessions per month, with each session lasting no longer than 4 hours. DayDrop is not intended to replace a child's regular daycare, preschool, or other primary care arrangement.
Dayspace is not licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), so our program has important limitations. We do not provide diapering or toileting assistance, and children participating in DayDrop must be fully toilet-independent. We also do not prepare or serve meals; instead, we offer allergen-friendly snacks during sessions. DayDrop is designed for families seeking occasional, enrichment-focused experiences rather than full-day childcare services. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging space where children can enjoy meaningful activities while parents enjoy a little more flexibility in their day.
